Phase 2

Phase 2 of our trip home is today. It sounds like Heather got a special tour of the inner workings of the San Pedro Sula airport yesterday. Dressed in a construction orange vest she went down on the tarmac to watch an inspection of her bag... Fun times. They had a slight delay getting off the ground, but the rest of the trip went well. We are up and around this morning getting ready to make our journey home. Thank you for your prayers and support! See you soon.

Half Way There!

Half the group is off for Atlanta. They are expected to touch down around 5:00 eastern time. We had a good and relatively uneventful trip in to San Pedro Sula yesterday. The rest of the group is hanging out at the (very small) hotel today.

Homeward Bound

We are preparing to head to San Pedro Sula at 9:00 am. We had a great day today getting to learn some of the history of this town and working with the kids at the school and Little Hands. We look forward to seeing you all very soon!

Update!

I am very sorry for the long expanse between posts! We have had multiple power outages each day and I am having connectivity issues as well down here. We have built a foundation, roofed several homes, poured a floor or two, painted, played, fixed computers, painted, digg trenches and approx systems, painted, mended fences, painted,  and we have painted. There is probably much more I have left out like our visitation trips and festival,  but we are eager to share our pictures with you. Everyone is doing well. No major injuries or illnesses have thwarted or group. Bruce made it safely to San Pedro Sula today and will fly out tomorrow. We are preparing for our church visits and family lunches on Sunday. Thank you for your continued prayers and support!

See you soon...

Pictures will come if I can ever get a better connection so they will load.
